Remote Health Consultation Service for Hyundai Construction Employees
In a significant advancement for employee well-being, Seoul St. Mary’s Hospital, and PuzzleAI have introduced a remote health consultation service. This innovative initiative aims to ease health concerns of employees working abroad for Hyundai Construction amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
A memorandum of understanding (MOU) was recently signed at the Hyundai Construction headquarters in Seoul. Key figures included St. Mary’s Hospital President Kim Yong-Sik and Hyundai Construction President Park Dong-Wook. PuzzleAI CEO Park Sang-Soo and 30 other relevant personnel also attended the event.
Addressing Health and Psychological Stability
The primary goal of this agreement focuses on supporting the psychological well-being of overseas employees. Given the global COVID-19 pandemic, many workers experience heightened anxiety about their health. This remote consultation service aims to provide immediate support and reassurance.
After the pandemic ends, the collaboration will further enhance the health of workers stationed abroad. The partnership intends to create a system that fosters ongoing cooperation in health initiatives. This integrated approach aims to encompass both psychological support and physical health guidance.
To tackle challenges associated with remote consultations, St. Mary’s Hospital plans to implement a next-generation remote platform. This platform is developed in collaboration with PuzzleAI, which specializes in artificial intelligence and telemedicine solutions. The new system will address several issues, including personal identification and the protection of medical information.
Additionally, it will ensure secure storage of consultation content and eliminate limitations related to spaces or locations. Such considerations are vital for creating a secure and effective health consultation environment.
Kim Yong-Sik, the hospital president, expressed optimism about the initiative. “St. Mary’s Hospital aims to expand COVID-19 remote consultations using our telemedicine and artificial intelligence expertise. This effort will significantly enhance the international standing of South Korean healthcare.”
The collaboration between Hyundai Construction and St. Mary’s Hospital highlights the importance of supporting employees’ health holistically. By combining advanced technology with medical expertise, the initiative aims to foster a healthier workforce.
As the world continues to navigate the COVID-19 crisis, partnerships like this will pave the way for improved healthcare accessibility. They address the real needs of Hyundai Construction’s international workforce, offering them essential support during challenging times.
