Hyundai Corporation Partners with Seoul St. Mary’s Hospital for Remote Health Counseling Services

Hyundai Corporation and Seoul St. Mary’s Hospital have launched a comprehensive remote health counseling service for overseas employees. This partnership aims to improve well-being and support mental health among workers abroad.

On August 21, Hyundai Corporation signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Seoul St. Mary’s Hospital. This agreement establishes a mutual cooperation system, which assists employees in countries with limited access to quality healthcare services. Both organizations recognized the growing need for effective health solutions, especially for individuals working far from home.

How the Remote Counseling Service Works

The health counseling service operates via a remote platform that enables non-face-to-face video consultations. Patients can easily connect with medical professionals in real-time. This innovative approach not only saves time but also makes access to healthcare more convenient for employees. Seoul St. Mary’s Hospital collaborates with PuzzleAI, a leading provider of artificial intelligence medical solutions. Their expertise stems from successful pilot programs at the Infection Control Center and International Medical Center.

Each overseas site will be equipped with essential medical tools, such as thermometers, blood pressure monitors, and pulse oximeters. This equipment allows workers to record their self-diagnoses accurately. After completing a preliminary questionnaire about health issues, they can apply for a counseling session. The questionnaires include questions about symptoms, lifestyle habits, and any pre-existing conditions. Upon review, medical staff will carefully assess the information before arranging video consultations.

During the consultations, qualified healthcare professionals will address individual health concerns, provide recommendations, and answer questions. Workers will benefit from tailored advice designed to meet their needs. The service encourages employees to maintain regular health check-ins, fostering a culture of well-being within the company.

Hyundai Corporation values employee health and understands its significance for productivity. They plan to analyze feedback from the service implementation systematically. By doing so, they intend to identify areas for improvement and monitor overall health outcomes. Based on these insights, Hyundai plans to expand the service’s scope, offering a more comprehensive range of health consultations in the future.

Furthermore, Hyundai Corporation aims to integrate mental health support within these services. Employees will have opportunities for psychological counseling to address stress, anxiety, and other emotional concerns. This holistic approach to health ensures that workers receive well-rounded support during their overseas assignments.

Hyundai and Seoul St. Mary’s Hospital are committed to creating a healthier work environment for all employees abroad. This collaboration reflects the organization’s dedication to innovation in employee care and well-being.
